These magnificent moth like things are a species that evolved from a tiny little ice worm/caterpillar. In their pupa stage they are sharp and poisonous to protect the adult stage and allow it to live and thrive as this prevents beings from consuming them even though it does sometimes occur as a delicacy. they live for 450 years in their realm which is the Ice Fortress and then they either mate or cross over. Their guide to areas where Treasures are hidden and they have their own form of bioluminescence it allows them to guide you to different areas safely they are carnivorous and nature unlike the moths in our areas they're very cold temperature Wyatt as they live in a icy climate where they would not be thought to survive. At nighttime is when they glow with this bioluminescence that they have. The bioluminescence that they have is able to be used for spells and Magic although it is not recommended. It is what is considered an unstable ingredients and can sometimes explode if you're not careful they secrete the ingredients from their body when they are put under large amounts of stress or cause anxiety so does better used for chaotic spells and workings.
